  • Grind raw mango pieces, grated coconut, putani, onion, red chilies, jaggery, and salt to a paste.

  • Prepare seasoning by heating oil in Kadai. Add Mustard seeds and Methi Seeds. On spluttering add curry leaves and Asafoetida.

  • Transfer this to grinded paste.

  • Serve this tangy chutney with dosa or roti.

    1    Raw mango pieces or mango grated : 3 tbsp
    2    Grated coconut: 3 tbsp
    3    Putani: 1 tbsp
    4    Onion: 1/2 chopped medium sized
    5    Red chillies: 3 or 4 nos.
    6    Jaggery : 1/2 tbsp
    7    Salt to taste
    8    Asafoetida: A Pinch
    9    Methi Seeds: 1/2 tsp
    10    Oil: 1/2 tbsp
    11    Mustard Seeds: 1/2 tsp
    12    Curry Leaves: 1 strand
